NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The NSS is an All India Scheme initiated by the Union Ministry of Education and implemented at the colleges through the universities.

The IEEE branch was formed in the college August 1986. Its present strength is about 200. It Conducts seminars of technical interest, technical tours,meetings etc.

The students chapter of the Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE) was started in our college in 1998 with the objective of promoting interaction within the student community and enhance their general skills.
To fulfill these objectives the ISTE organizes various programs & competitions at a regular basis in the college. Experts in various fields are invited to present talks on their field of expertise. Debate and group discussions are a regular feature in which students take with great enthusiasm. Visits to various industries are also organized during which time the students get to know the working of the different machines , processes and manufacture of the various products in these industries. A simulation of the different competitive examinations that are open for graduate students like GATE, CAT are held to familiarize the students with these exams.

Society of Student Architects is student body of Architecture students. The Association started in the year 1985.

A wing of student's chapter of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERS is functioning in our college under the guidance of Chemical Engineering Dept.
